Taking care of your skin is important at every age, and increases in importance as you get older. Trying out new beauty products can be fun. However, over the years, I have found that some brands are better than others. Brands that are “clean beauty brands” are those that focus on the climate, being sustainable, packaging responsibly, and giving back to the environment. They are also brands that sell products formulated without phthalates, formaldehyde, oxybenzone, and more. In short, they are products that are not only non-toxic for your skin and body but are also environmentally friendly. Some of my favorite clean beauty brands include Beauty Counter, Honest and Drunk Elephant.
Beauty Counter
The mission at Beauty Counter is to get safer products into the hands of everyone. There are so many ingredients that are currently banned in the EU but are for some reason allowed for use in the United States. Beauty Counter has a team of experts who carefully vet each and every ingredient used in their products. Whenever I purchase a new beauty product from Beauty Counter, I know it will not only be effective, but it will also be safe. Beauty Counter also goes above and beyond in its sustainable packaging. A brand that is friendly to my health and friendly to the environment is definitely a winner. Below are a few of my favorite Beauty Counter products.
