What inspired your passion for travel and led you to become a travel advisor?
From a young age, I have been obsessed with travel. For my 13th birthday, I wished for a trip to London & Paris, which solidified my love for travel with my first taste of Europe. After attending NYU for college & studying abroad in Madrid, I was able to visit 36 cities across 11 countries, each of which fed my insatiable desire to learn more about this earth and experience as many of it’s distinct corners as possible. After a stint in the entertainment industry as a talent agent assistant, I followed my heart and entered the travel industry 3.5 years ago where I represented luxury villa rental brand onefinestay and never looked back. I worked alongside travel agents day-to-day and knew being a travel advisor myself was the ultimate goal. Sharing my love for travel and seeing people enjoy places I’ve recommended is one of the things that brings me the most joy.
What is your favorite travel destination and why?
I am a California girl through and through. Although many places around the world have completely blown me away (Iceland, Italian Lakes & beyond), I will never get bored of exploring up & down the beautiful coastline, deserts & mountains that this great state has to offer. Sometimes we forget there is so much beauty in our own backyard!
What is the most unusual or unexpected item you always pack in your suitcase?
A glue stick. I love to collect my travel collateral - business cards, maps, tickets, etc. - to glue into my travel journal & favorite memories.
If you could have dinner with any famous person while traveling, who would it be and why?
Ina Garten, preferably over rosé & spaghetti in her Hamptons home garden. Her effortless elegance & joy for life’s simplicities inspires me.
What’s your go-to travel snack?
Differs per airport… but usually involves a little cheese, a little red wine & a new book.
Do you have a travel playlist or a favorite song that you listen to while exploring new places?
French Poolside Disco when I’m by the water, The Toast or Stuff You Should Know literally any other time.
