Many people don’t realize how it’s really not much further than Hawaii! You can take a direct flight from LAX to Tahiti (8 hours) then a quick 1 hour flight to Bora Bora. I recommend taking the overnight flight which I call a bed and breakfast because by the time you wake up you’re having breakfast and you’re already there!
